About Kingussie Parish Church

Breaking News!
Thank you so much to everyone who nominated Kingussie Parish Church for the National Church Open for Visitors Awards this year.
We have just been advised we have been shortlisted from a group of very strong nominations.
The National Churches Trust also expressed its thanks to all the judges for the work they do and to all the the Church Teams who keep the Churches open and welcoming to visitors from near or far.
Whether it be for quiet reflection, access to services, a warm welcome, a place to worship or pray, or a space to explore, a place for a friendly chat, churches should be open and available, loved and supported. We know this takes hard work, dedication, and in some cases courage to open the door.

Rainbow babies and toddlers
If you have, or look after, a baby or toddler then there is no need to be on your own on Wednesday mornings.
We gather together on Wednesday mornings from 9 till 11am in the church hall.
Thursday Warm Space
We invite you and your friends to come and join us at Kingussie Parish Church Hall from 10:00 to 16:00 on Thursdays.
Everyone welcome for coffee, soup and chat.

History
The history of the Church in Kingussie is set out in a short book written by local historian John Robertson at our request, when renovation work was underway in 2007.
A second edition of this book is now available:
The Mound of the Court A brief history of Kingussie Parish Church (Second Edition).
Available from the Kingussie Bookshop £4.
